GoPrinter™ handheld printers come in two sizes: 12.7mm (1/2 inch) and 25.4mm (1 inch). No matter which one you’re using, loading the cartridge properly is essential to get a clean, reliable print.
Loading the Cartridge:
To insert the ink cartridge:
- Hold it at a 45° angle.
- Align the top edge so that the pins match perfectly.
- Slide it in gently and push down the bottom section.
- Lock the lever to secure it.
If the lever doesn’t snap shut, don’t force it as that usually means the cartridge isn’t seated correctly. Eject and reinsert until it locks smoothly. This prevents damage to the cartridge bay and ensures the electrical pins are properly connected.
Lock Lever Fix (Spring Repair):
If your locking lever becomes loose or detached, the video demonstrates how to reattach it:
- Remove the lever and inspect the small spring and pivot poles.
- Reinsert the spring carefully.
- Align the lever’s poles into their slots and snap it back into place.
This fix helps restore firm locking action so your cartridge stays secure during operation.
Note: Each printer size uses its own specific cartridge, and cartridges are not interchangeable between 12.7mm and 25.4mm models. Forcing the wrong cartridge may cause alignment or locking issues.
